Position Summary:

The forklift performance associate is responsible for using cherry picker, or other power equipment to load, move, stack, stage, and count products and materials. The forklift operator makes necessary adjustments to inventory and perform work supplied by the client, Team Leader and/or Performance Supervisor. This is to be done in an effective, safe, and prompt manner.

Shift: 7:45am - 8:00pm 12 hrs shift -rotating days

Pay: $14.50

Duties and Responsibilities:

​ Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory programs Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages and inventory discrepancies Compiles, verifies, and reports periodic statistical information to management regarding trends in customer escalations as related to inventory Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor Ensures compliance to inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations Other duties as required and assigned

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1 year experience operating a forklift

 

Education and Experience :

  Prefer experience in DC or warehouse, or other related environments. Good organizational and time management skills Experience in using computer or inventory management systems. High School degree or GED

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  Ability to work in team environment. Have reliable communication and documentation skills Have organizational and time management skills to provide good throughput Ability to maintain inventory controls Ability to follow basic work instructions. Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group setting which provides a positive influence. Be dependable and have dependable transportation to and from workplace Ability to provide quality work in a fast pace environment Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments in a specified time. Ability to maintain and operate facility equipment.

 

Working Conditions:

  Ability to work flexible hours depending on workload and schedule requirements in facility. Clean and organized warehouse environment. May or may not have environmental controls for warmer or colder seasons

 

Physical Requirements:

  Excessive walking, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and bending Extensive use of repetitive movement Lifting requirements of 50 lbs or less
