Position Summary

Looking for a self-motivated Project Manager with experience leading information technology application development projects. The successful candidate will work directly with business partners and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered within the applicable scope, budget, and schedule. They work well within a team and use appropriate verification techniques to monitor progress.

Primary Responsibilities:

Drive the definition of project scope
Meet with clients and business analysts to clarify specific requirements of each project
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with stakeholders and team members
Assist in planning and organizing resources assigned to each project
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Anticipate, identify and escalate risks, issues and resolution/mitigation plans
Develop communication plans and ensure execution of communication plans
Lead change through influence, personal advocacy, vision and drive
Maintain and improve project management processes and procedures


Required Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years of experience in the management of information technology application development projects
Experience leading projects using waterfall and agile methodologies
Passion for quality improvement, service enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity increases of a business activity or process
Advanced time management and analytical skills
Excellent client-facing communication skills
Hands-on experience using project management software like Microsoft Project or PlanView


Preferred Experience and Skills:

Familiarity with SmartSheet software's collaboration and time management tools
PMP Certification
