Position Overview The Marketing Support Officer serves as the liaison for communicating projects from the sales team to the product division. Responsible for the development of project timelines and tracking to ensure targets are reached. Assist to analyze customer rate of sale, assortment profitability, adherence to brand strategy, warehouse fill rates, market trends, etc. Essential Job Functions Accounts: Manages daily activities of the operational sales function. Oversees workflow of all business processing including preparation of reports, charts and other statistics to support and direct the sales department. Initiates and tracks order to completion. Handles and helps to resolve more complex customer service requests or issues. Develop and implement promotional events and interact with customers to increase sales volume. Administration: Liaison for communicating projects from the independent sales teams to the product divisions within Lifetime Brands. Analyze a variety of issues including customer rate of sale, assortment profitability, adherence to brand strategy, warehouse fill rates, market trends, etc. Act as liaison with the warehouses to analyze and service the independent accounts and budgeted accounts. Supports monthly budget by monitoring open orders to availability of inventory. Sales Promotion/Product Development: Work with independent and direct sales teams to conceive, develop, implement, market and sell creative merchandising programs. Initiate and coordinate account projects re: packaging, promotion, products, fixturing, signage, and secondary merchandiser opportunities. Travel: Travel as deemed necessary: major presentation support, trade shows, significant program launches. Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s level degree • Experience: 2 – 5 years in the field or in a related area • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Intermediate to advanced skill set with Excel and MS office products. Experience with Access and/or SAP a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
